FICKLEosophyM247buttonCoffeeThe best thing about obsessions is you usually don’t know they ARE obsessions until you ARE obsessed with them. And this obsession is right up there with things you’ll need to keep your eyes on. Mommies 24/7. I know what you’re thinking…not a mommie? (and yes, you can all put your erasers away – it is indeed spelled m-o-m-m-I-E). Well, that’s what I thought. And then I thought some more. And I decided that, well, them being mommies (and mommies who like cool stuff) and I being a mommie to a furry, four-legged girl (and obsessed with cool stuff) – well, that is just a match made in FICKLEosophy heaven.

Here’s the backstory: Hoboken Mommies 24/7 was born in 2011. The child of Sarah Himmelbaum, a mommie with a story and a new community in Hoboken, New Jersey to share her experiences with. Sarah’s vision for Hoboken Mommies began as a “community where you have the opportunity to socialize, interact, and share laughs and stories with other local mothers” through social networking. All designed as a one-stop destination for your messy, fabulous life.

A year later, Mommies 24/7 expanded to Montclair. Jaime Molinaro, of Montclair Mommies, met Sarah during 2012 and knew she needed to be a part of her world. “Mommies 24/7…connects Mommies and their Littles. Mommies need each other. You always hear It takes a village to raise a child. We are thrilled to be your village.” With the addition of Summit Mommies this year, each group has a healthy reach to its respective outlying communities. All based in New Jersey, these mommies are driven to share their formula with other mommies across the nation.

So that brings me back here…to FICKLEosophy. Over the next week or so, you’ll see some FICKLEosophy posts popping up on Montclair Mommies 24/7. Here and there. Stuff for moms. Stuff for kids. Sometimes even stuff for dads. Whenever you see this little icon – the one with the mommies “sipping and sharing” and the infamous big orange “F” – well all that, that is how you’ll know this post was meant for you. And who isn’t obsessed with living a messy fabulous life! Really.
